I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. Since becoming a teacher at Northern Door Children's Center, I have also received my CPR, first aid and lifeguard certification.

I did my student teaching in a public school in Florida in a 4th grade classroom. Here at the Children's Center I have been a part of many exciting programs: the first year of 4Learning, 2007 Camp Cool, and I am the lead teacher for the Prescholar Classroom.

In May 2006 I moved to Wisconsin with my husband, Noah Knudson. We were married in June 2008 and are in the process of buying our first house. Together we have two boxer dogs: Emmy who is four years, and Harley who is two years. In my time away from the Children's Center I also work as a server at the Viking Grill in Ellison Bay. I love to read, go to the beach and hang out with friends.
