I am the Executive Director of Northern Door Children's Center. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from UW-Oshkosh and a Master of Education degree from Lesley College. I have been an early childhood educator, Assistant Center Director, Center Director, College Level Early Childhood Instructor, and Director of Early Childhood Programs in various settings in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Massachusetts, Colorado and Indiana over the past 20+ years.

I have a special interest in speech and language development, early literacy, brain development and staff development. Much of my time at the Children's Center is devoted to program development and fundraising efforts. I also teach a weekly Spanish lesson in our Prescholar Program.

I have been employed at Northern Door Children's Center since March 2000.

I have been married to Michael Peot since 1981. We have two children, Andrew and Aubrey. I enjoy spending time on our farm, traveling, skiing, entertaining, needle work and reading.
