Raffle Rules: Age limit for entry is 18 years or over. No prizes will be awarded to any person under the age of 18. The correct end of the ticket stub containing name and contact information must be
submitted to be eligible to win. Employees of Northern Door Children’s Center, their spouses, minor children of employees and members of their households are ineligible. All completed entries
(with payment) must be received on or before October 24, 2010 at 1:59 p.m., to be eligible for Grand Prize Drawing of a 2010 Mini Cooper Convertible. The prize will be awarded regardless of the number of tickets sold. The odds of winning are dependent on the number of valid entries received; 4,000 tickets are available to be sold.

Drawing Date and Place: Drawing will be held at 2 p.m. on October 24, 2010, at Northern Door Children’s Center, 10520 Judith Blazer Drive, Sister Bay, WI 54234. Drawing will be conducted under the auspices of an independent auditor. After the draw, the winner’s name will be recorded. In the event of a winning entry having more than one name, the prize will be awarded to the first name listed on the entry. Winner need not be present to win; winner will be notified by phone or in writing of their winning entry and how to claim the prize. Any entrant can request the winner’s name on or before December 31, 2010 by sending the request with a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Northern Door Children’s Center (NDCC).

Winner’s Rights and Responsibilities: Prize must be claimed by the winner on or before November 7, 2010. If any winner does not claim their prize by November 7, 2010, another ticket will be drawn. The
winner is subject to all applicable raffle procedures, restrictions, rules, directives, state and local laws and regulations and is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, fees, assessments, charges, license, title, registration, fees and assessments associated with the prize. The 2010 Horizon Blue Mini Cooper convertible comes fully factory equipped and the winner of the car is solely responsible for the registration and insurance.

NDCC Rights and Responsibilities: NDCC and its agents, Board, vendors volunteers and members (collectively referred to as “Agents”) assume no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, undeliverable entries or entries without proper payment received which entries shall be deemed invalid and shall be immediately disqualified. Winner, by entering, authorizes NDCC and their Agents to publish their name and likeness in promotional materials or on its website. It is agreed by Winner as a condition of winning that in no case shall NDCC or its Agents be liable for any claims, liabilities or costs of any kind, nature or character resulting from acceptance, possession or use of the prize, and that
NDCC and its Agents have not made any representations, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize. In the case of any dispute, NDCC decision shall be final. The IRS has taken the position that amounts paid for chances to participate in raffles, lotteries or similar drawings for valuable prizes are not donations or gifts, therefore, the price of the entry does not qualify as a deductible charitable contribution.
