Welcome to Northern Door Children’s Center

Northern Door Children’s Center (NDCC) in Sister Bay, Wisconsin is a 501(c)3, not-for-profit organization dedicatedfundraising_13 to providing high-quality, early childhood education in a safe, secure environment.  Our program enhances personal and educational growth and development for the children of Northern Door County in partnership with families and the community.

Northern Door Children’s Center has been serving Door County since 1986. Founded by a group of forward-thinking parents to provide quality child care services for their children, NDCC has grown  into the community’s Early Childhood Education Center. We are fully committed to meeting all the developmental needs of our students.

After many years of operation in the Old Sister Bay Schoolhouse, the Children’s Center moved to our present facility, just down the road at the comer of Hwy. 57 and Country Walk Lane. The new, state-of-the-art building allows  us to serve 112 children per day and provides ample room for 34 children in our school-age, summer day camp program.

The Northern Door community depends heavily upon the high-quality early childhood education provided at NDCC. Our students benefit from the safe, structured, learning environment offered by our professional educators. The children develop strong inter-personal skills and form friendships that last into adulthood. In turn, families benefit from interacting with one another and from the support and parent education provided by the NDCC teaching and administrative staff.

The economy and Door County’s many employers are positively impacted as well. Because NDCC exists, our families are able to participate in the workforce. In addition, Door County’s many retired citizens benefit from having a stable base of younger, year-round residents to assist with their needs as they age.

Northern Door Children’s Center is a vital part of a healthy and thriving Northern Door Community!
