Courtney Gallant
Development Director
I joined the staff of NDCC as the first Development Director in 2026. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, and served in AmeriCorps following graduation. My AmeriCorps service inspired my longstanding commitment to supporting mission-driven organizations. Over the past thirteen years, I have worked in fundraising, development, and community engagement roles for domestic violence resource centers, emergency homeless shelters, and charitable health clinics. I am thrilled to now bring that experience to this incredible early learning environment!
I have a special passion for building bridges and fostering meaningful connections among organizations, the communities they serve, and the generous supporters who help make their missions possible. I am a lifelong learner who believes in the power of curiosity and discovery, values I’m proud to see reflected at NDCC.
I grew up in Central Oregon, a beautiful region “out west” that feels surprisingly similar to Door County; with its close-knit people, natural beauty, and strong sense of community. My partner, Sam, grew up in Sturgeon Bay and I’ve been visiting alongside him for many years, the two of us always dreamed of settling down here and now those dreams have come true!
My husband and I live in Baileys Harbor with our two young children (who also attend NDCC as students) and our big, fluffy dog, Angus. In our free time we love exploring outdoors, going to community events, traveling and visiting museums, and listening to jam band tunes together at our “Little House on the Bluff.”
