Karl Wise

Karl Wise spent the first half of his career as a professional economist and the second half as a not-for-profit organization executive. Karl was the Associate Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the American Veterinary Medical Association prior to his retirement in 2013. Karl earned MA and PhD Degrees from Pennsylvania State University and lectured and published extensively during his career. In retirement, Karl enjoys hiking, wood-working, stained glass art, and volunteering. He has served as President of the Third Avenue Playworks Board of Directors and as President of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County.
